Karen: lover of all things wood and paper.

Karen- lover of all thinks wood and paper. I have watched these lasers for about 10 years. My honey Joe said, “stop talking and just do it.” So, we bought my first machine. Our son-in-law helped us compare machines to find the one right for us. 8 months later we bought my portable machine. Now a year later things have blossomed. I am a Registered nurse by day and a creator by evening and night. I have always tried to be creative. I have painted ceramics forever even selling several pieces many years ago.

I grew into loving paper. I love to make cards by the dozens. I love to create card designs and color, paint, or marker the cards. Several years ago, I found paper quilling well I am in love. Joe dubbed it twisting paper. Joe- he is the mastermind behind all things displayed. He supports my work and helps me with staining and doing the last finishing processes. He has built almost all my show displays. He revamps and builds as we need. He helps with every aspect from set up to helping with customers.

He drives tractor trailer doing local delivery for a neighborhood company. Thank goodness is at home every night and no longer doing the over-the-road driving. He enjoys working with wood. He is in the process of turning our barn shed into a wood shop.

He likes to make sleeping fence pets and display shelves for me. His very special attribute is he is a veteran serving in The Marine Corp for 8 years. He served active duty in Desert Storm.

The kids are all raised. We have a baseball team of grandchildren and even a great

grandchild. Yep, we are that old.

We have 2 great danes, Goliath and Apallo. We have a crazy bird and 2 chinchillas. We have a few rabbits and are real animal people. In our spare time we like to camp and ride side x side.
